Waikoloa in the South Kohala area is well-known for its year-round sunshine and beautiful coastline/beaches.  Kohala is renowned for the best weather on all Hawaiian islands.

During whale season (December-April) it's easy to see humpbacks swimming directly off the coast from the Ocean Club (or from our upper lanai). No need to take excursions when you have a premier view from the shoreline. With sunsets off the horizon and the sounds of waves crashing in the background; it truly creates a pleasing and therapeutic environment for all to enjoy.

There is so much to do within just a few minutes (helicopter rides, beaches, luaus, shopping, fishing, golf, K ranch, Whale-watching, Scuba, Snorkeling, incredible restaurants and so much more).
